Summer is off to a Great start!

I love summer! Yes I am one of those crazies that loves the summer heat! Mabry and I have been spending lots of time outside and lots of time at one of the city pools. One reason we are outside so much is that it is the first thing on Mabry's mind in the morning. So we wave dad off to work and spend some time playing in the yard. I question she is my girl when she won't eat chocolate, but I have no doubt when it comes to being active and being outdoors! :-) We just returned from the great Smoky Mountains. We met Andy's parents, grandmother and one of his brothers and his family. We stayed in Severville sp? in a beautiful cabin with a gorgeous view...Oak Haven Resort! Highly recommended. We had fun times at the cabin just spending time together, playing games - fuse ball, ping pong, dominoes, hanging out in the hot tub, trying to drive up ridiculously steep roads, driving though Cade's Cove, going out to eat and one of the highlights was going to Dollywood. Overall great trip, way too short (they always are)! There are so many things/projects that I want to get done around the house, but there is not enough time in the evenings between 8:00 when Mabes is down and whenever I finally crash! Some examples...print off pictures from feb. - Present, update my blog - finally an doing that now, write thank you notes, many, many house projects #1 being put the rest of the cabinet doors on, pick up random piles of stuff around the house, clean the master bathroom, finish my book, start a new book, make dinner, put pictures in the frames that are already on the walls, like I said just some stuff I would like to do. My days are jam packed with fun adventures with Mabry, we also have been babysitting/helping out (when the kid is 11+ I am not sure what to call it?). Mabry is BUSY! She is a snuggler at time with huge hugs around the neck, she loves kisses - including butterfly and eskimo, she runs...fast, she repeats almost any word, two of my favorites are coffee and snack. She is finally getting some hair. She climbs on any and everything. She tries to lay on the cat - what a sport! She loves to destroy the kitchen - cleaning out the tupperware cabinets, she is SASSY, she is funny, she had 7-9 teeth - I don't know if I can quite count her molars that are coming in. Andy and I are learning alot. Especially when it comes to the NO, MINE and hitting. Yes, she is a little sinner, just a really cute one! I could go on and on. It would be so great to capture every moment on camera/video, the days/months go my so fast! We are truly Blessed! GOD IS GOOD!

Adios!

:-) L.A.

Another Picture Post

I wish I had the energy to write all that is going on, but I am too tired. Today was my last day of school, so I am officially on summer break! Mabry is incredible. She is talking so much and our little girl is so brave. She climbs on everything and insists on "jumping" off. She loves to be outside "outside" "outside" "outside" is what we frequently hear. Here are some pictures from Memorial Weekend at Bay Point through her last day of school today. Enjoy! :-)
