Oh Where O Where Have I Been

Answer - no where really, just not keeping up with my internet social life (blogging, facebook, e-mail). Mabry is changing everyday. We went to the beach this past weekend with the Carsons, Popes and some new friends (Travis, Jordan, Christy and Danny) I loved watching Mabry on the beach. She had so much fun getting used to the water with her daddy. At first she was terrified and then as she warmed up to it she was shrieking with joy. It brought absolute joy to my heart! Mabry is becoming quite the little Daddy's girl and that also brings such joy to my heart! She runs up to him when he gets home from work and immediately asks for "bubbles." She still loves being outside, and loves her bubbles. I've made a couple pair of shorts and shirts for her. Cute little play clothes. We took a couple weeks off from working on the house and just enjoyed being here. I sewed and Andy caught up on SportsCenter. Tonight we finished painting some of the doors, still about 4 more to go. Called it quits after 2 each so we could have an ice cream and American Idol date. I love our DVR by the way...what great way to watch TV! Here are some pictures from when the Hanlons came to visit, when Steph was in town and some others. I wish I could post them all. I don't have the patience to download them all to a slideshow. Maybe this summer, we'll see! Oh, the random picture of the dinner was our first dinner in our new home...that was not pick up, drive thru, etc. The first picture was when Andy's parents came in April and we drove to SGI for the day, next Mabes and Rackadew, next is Mabry trying to give Corbin his passie, and the last one is Mabry going for her first ride in her new wagon.

Sick Again!?!

Little Mabes has a fever again. (She had one over spring break) Before she went to bed it was 103.2. I am so sad, I don't know how to help my precious little girl. We gave her some Motrin before bed and then had some good cuddling time before we laid her down. Hopefully tomorrow she will feel better! We are moving along with the house, some nights we work, some nights we don't. Andy worked on the kitchen backsplash some more today. One more wall and he will be done. I am still putting random things away and trying to upkeep the house. Buying a bigger house = more cleaning! And let me tell you, it is oh so worth it! Mabry loves being outside, she could be out there all day long. Today it was rainy, so not much outside play. The weather has been great, I heard it is going to get cool again though!?! Hopefully it won't freeze b/c we just planted the Satsuma tree my sisters gave Mabry for her birthday. I am going to go chill with my husband.

Please pray for my little love to get better, it breaks my heart when she is hurting!

HELLO MY FRIENDS!!!

oh the hanlons...

what have we been up to?

chillin out sitting on the couch, eating oreos with tall glasses of milk. wondering what we are going to do with all of our spare time.

Really we have been working our tails off! Yep, every night after our princess goes to bed we are on the go. Andy has been working on the backsplash in the kitchen and is almost ready to grout. I have been putting stuff away and organizing, and then deciding that I don't like it where I put it, and then I move it again! We are getting there! I don't think there are actually any boxes in the house anymore, just random piles of "stuff." Still no pictures on the walls :-( , hopefully that will be a project we will get to soon. I miss having my walls plastered with Mabry, friends and family!

I am officially on Spring Break!!!!!!!! Mabry and are are going to play all week with Andy's parents! They are driving in from Indiana tomorrow, we are so excited!
Andy has to work, but of course we will have some good hang out time in the evenings.

Mabry is unbelievable! She is the sweetest and funniest little thing. She has some serious tickle spots, she loves to play outside, her new words are ball, mommy (which we think is her saying more please, and eye. She say ummmm everytime she is about to eat. She still is all about her kitty cat and any dog she sees she gets so excited! She loves to go to sleep at night. Around 7:45 she snuggles with "bubby bear" ( a bear made out of one of Mitch's t-shirts that Leah's mom, Mrs. Dinkins made) it is her favorite thing!!! After she gives us kisses she reaches for her crib and then she is out. We thought we would never see the day she would want to go to bed, and sleep through the night!

Life is good. We are so happy and blessed to be in our new home. We are so thrilled that we now have the space for Andy's parents to stay with us. We look forward to the many more times to have visitors come and stay.
